One of my fondest summer memories was taking my children to Disney for the first time!
One of my favorite childhood summer memories is when our family shared a beach house on Balboa Island in CA with about 6 of my cousins and their parents. We swam & paddled in the protected harbor together. One day, we covered the entire beach with ‘sandcastles’. Then, we made thrones out of sand at the water’s edge and sat in them as we watched the sunset. I sure wish I had a Nikon, Kodak, or Cannon to record those precious memories at that time. Maybe I’ll be able to recreate them with a new camera and my grandchildren.
One of my summer memories was going to the San Juan Islands with my 2 best friends! We island hopped and camped out and one night our campsite was invaded by a huge deer lol. Well one of my besties and I ran into the car and slept in there because well, we were afraid of the deer. Well what do you think happened? The deer followed us to the car and just stared at us for a good while and finally left but we stayed in the car the rest of the night. Funny but fond memories.

One of my favorite childhood summer memories is going on family vacation. We regularly went to Myrtle Beach and it was always such a blast! We would hang at the beach, hang at the pool, go shopping, play putt putt, etc…. I loved it! I’m hoping that my husband and I can go there on vacation together soon!
Summer memories at the lake learning to water skii. Almost drowning and realizing how much my father loves me. Seeing that in his eyes was a great moment.

We saw an Atlanta Braves game (with awesome fireworks display), the laser light show and (fireworks too) at Stone Mountain and we visited one of my cousins that lived there. It was an amazing long weekend that I will not soon forget!
